DEDHAM, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State College women's outdoor track and field team competed at the Bernard Solomon Invitational hosted by Northeastern University on Saturday.
Sophomore Carrie Robitaille (Ludlow, MA) placed first in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 1:07.40. She also finished second in the 100-meter hurdles (17.07 seconds).
Robitaille also performed well in the triple jump as she placed second in the event with a leap of 33 feet, eight inches (10.26 meters). She qualified for the New England Division III Championship meet in both the 400 hurdles and the triple jump.
Fellow sophomore Melissa Harris (Uxbridge, MA) grabbed third place in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:32.21.
