ALLSTON, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State College women's indoor track and field team competed at the Harvard Open on Saturday.
Sophomore Co Davis (Mansfield, MA) ran a terrific 500-meter dash as she posted a time of 1:21.89 to finish in sixth place in the event.
Both junior Jessica Eidinger (Sutton, MA) and sophomore Sarah Lagasse (Rehoboth, MA) had strong performances in the one-mile run. Lagasse ran the mile in a time of 5:31.47, while Eidinger completed the race at 5:39.29.
Carrie Robitaille (Ludlow, MA) made the finals of the 60-meter hurdles as she finished in 14th place. The Bears' sophomore co-captain posted a time of 10.04 seconds in the preliminaries and 10.07 seconds in the finals.
Also highlighting the meet for the Bears was freshman Taylor Smith (Cumberland, RI) who placed 16th in triple jump with career-best effort of 32', 7 1/2".
