BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's tennis team began preparations for the 2023 season as 12 student-athletes reported to preseason camp on Friday (Aug. 18) and hit the Rosen Memorial courts for the first time on Saturday morning.

Head Coach David Purpura's (8th Year) squad opens the 2023 campaign on Friday, September 1st when the Bears travel to Regis College for a noontime match with the Pride. The home opener is slated for Tuesday, September 5th (3:30) as the Bears welcome Eastern Nazarene College to the Rosen Courts.

The Little East Conference (LEC) schedule gets underway on Saturday, September 9th when the Bears entertain Rhode Island College at one o'clock.
