BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the fourth straight week and fifth time this season, Bridgewater State University sophomore Cailey Simard has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Diver of the Week.

Simard swept the diving events in the Bears' 144-34 victory over Little East foe UMass Dartmouth last week. The Haverhill, Massachusetts native posted a season-best score of 290.5 points on the one-meter board and 279.00 points on the three-meter plank as she has placed first in each of the Bears' nine diving events this season.

Simard is currently ranked third in all of Division III on the three-meter board and fifth on the one-meter for a six-dive event.

The LEC Diver of the Week honor marks the 13th of Simard's career. She also garnered the accolade eight times as a rookie in 2022-2023.

The BSU women's swimming and diving teams host the BSU Invitational on Saturday, December 2nd at 11:00 AM.
