BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the sixth time this season, Bridgewater State University freshman Ava Anderson has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Rookie Diver of the Week.

A native of Lynn, Massachusetts, Anderson posted career-best scores on both the one-meter (214.40 pts.) and three-meter (209.90 pts.) diving boards as she placed second in each event in the Bears' 209-59 win over Little East foe Plymouth State University.

Anderson also placed second on both diving boards in the Bears' 117-114 victory over Little East rival Eastern Connecticut State University. She tallied 213.00 points on the one-meter and 208.90 points on the three-meter.

Anderson also earned LEC Rookie Diver of the Week honors on October 17th, October 30th, November 6th, November 13th and November 20th.

The BSU swimming and diving teams are off untill the Little East Conference Championships. The four-day meet will open with the three-meter diving competition on Thursday, February 15th at Babson College. The final three days of the championship meet will take place at the Boston Sports Institute in Wellesley, Massachusetts.
