BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the third time this season, Bridgewater State University freshman Cailey Simard has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Rookie Diver of the Week.

A native of Haverhill, Massachusetts, Simard captured top honors on the three-meter diving board with a score of 232.2 points in the Bears' dual meet setback to Roger Williams University. She also placed second on the one-meter plank with a score of 220.1 points.

Simard currently ranks 45th in all of Division III on the one-meter board (240.30 pts.) and 63rd on the three-meter (229.75 pts.).

Simard also garnered LEC Rookie Diver of the Week honors on October 18th and October 25th.

The Bears are back in action on Saturday when they travel to UMass Dartmouth to take on the Corsairs at noon.
