BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University freshman Emily Bradford has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Women's Rookie Swimmer of the Week.

Bradford captured top honors in the 500 freestyle with a personal best time of 5:55.53 this past weekend in the Bears' 169.50-69.50 victory over Little East foe UMass Dartmouth. The Pittsfield, Massachusetts product also swam a leg on the Bears' first place 200 medley relay squad (2:04.99).

The BSU swimming & diving teams are off until Saturday, December 3rd when the Bears host the BSU Invitational at noon.
