BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's swimming & diving team hosted a dual meet against Babson College on Senior Day at the Moriarty Pool.

The Bears dropped a 179.5-107.5 decision to the visiting Beavers in their final regular season meet.

Senior Alexa Wilson (Centerville, Mass.) won both diving events as she recorded a career-best score of 216.50 points on the one-meter board as well as a score of 140.50 points on the three-meter plank.

Seniors Megan Bonney (Hoffman Estates, Ill.) and Mackenzie Coogan (Assonet, Mass.) and sophomores Makayla Paquin (North Easton, Mass.) and Danielle Vissering (North Andover, Mass.) capped off the meet with a victory in the 200 freestyle relay. The foursome posted a season-best time of 1:44.96.

Prior to the meet, the Bears honored Wilson, Bonney, Coogan and fellow seniors Madison Damphousse (Marshfield, Mass.), Jane Meyrick (Scituate, Mass.), Shea Puma (Leominster, Mass.) and Adi Tobias (North Attleboro, Mass).

Next Saturday, the Bears will host the BSU Alumni Meet as the team will celebrate 50 years of the swimming & diving program.
