NORTON, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University women's swimming & diving team competed at a tri-meet hosted by Brandeis University on Saturday afternoon at Balfour Natatorium on the Wheaton College campus.

The Bears' relay squad featuring seniors Megan Bonney (Hoffman Estates, Ill.)and Mackenzie Coogan (Assonet, Mass.), junior Allison Hunt (Norton, Mass.) and sophomore Makayla Paquin (North Easton, Mass.) capped off the meet with a victory in the 400 freestyle relay. The foursome posted a time of 3:51.70.

Coogan also captured top honors in the 50 freestyle with a time of 25.58 seconds.

Senior Alexa Wilson (Centerville, Mass.) rounded out the Bears' event winners. Wilson won the one-meter diving competition with a score of 204.95 points.

In the team results, the Bears (4-5) dropped 155-120 decision to Keene State College and lost to Brandeis by a margin of 195-82. The host Judges earned a sweep of the tri-meet with a 183-88 victory over Keene.

In upcoming action, the Bears host Bentley University on Wednesday evening at six.
