WILLIMANTIC, Conn. -- The Bridgewater State University swimming team dropped a 144-108 decision to host Eastern Connecticut State University on Saturday afternoon.

Bridgewater received a pair of wins from freshman Kristen Carey (East Taunton, Mass.) and sophomore Nelia Borden (Fall River, Mass.).  Carey posted a time of 11:44.72 in the 1,000 freestyle while Borden registred a time of 59.87 seconds in the 100 freestyle.

The Bears (3-5) are off until January 11th when they travel to Elms College for a four o'clock meet with the Blazers.
