Jackson Sets School Mark, Earns Diver of the Meet Honors

Day Three Results

NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- Senior diver Jennifer Jackson (Randolph, MA) placed first and set a new school record on the three-meter board at the New England Intercollegiate Swimming & Diving Association (NEISDA) Division II/III Women's Championships held at UMass-Dartmouth on Sunday.

Jackson posted a score of 384.05 on the three-meter board which eclipsed the previous school standard for an 11-dive event of 370.45 set by Kristine Soen back in 1998. 

On Saturday, Jackson set the school record for an 11-dive event on the one-meter board with a score of 361.85.  She broke Tara Dolan's 1989 mark of 347.50.

For her outstanding performances on the diving boards this weekend, Jackson was named the Diver of the Meet as well as the Senior High Point Diver.  

As a team, the Bears finished in fourth place at the championships with a score of 510.50 points. Keene State College won the three-day meet with 982 points followed by Bentley College (900) and Bryant University (748).
