BRIDGEWATER, Mass. – For the fourth time this season, Bridgewater State University junior forward Olivia Robarge has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Robarge potted the game-winning goal in the 75th minute in the Bears’ 2-1 comeback win on the road over defending MASCAC Tournament champion Westfield State. The Pepperell, Massachusetts product also found the back of the net in a 4-1 setback to nationally ranked #9 Tufts University
In 14 games this season, Robarge has produced 11 goals and three assists for 25 points, all career highs. She currently leads the MASCAC in game-winning goals with four, ranks second in goals, third in scoring, and is tied for eighth in assists.
In 50 games over her first three seasons with the Bears, Robarge has amassed 19 goals and five assists for 43 points. Seven of her 19 goals have been game-winners.
Robarge also earned MASCAC Offensive Player of the Week honors back on September 9th and September 23rd, and again on October 7th.
The BSU women's soccer team is currently 9-4-2 on the season and 5-0-1 in the MASCAC standings. The Bears host UMass Boston on Wednesday afternoon at 3:30.
