BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University senior forward Michelle Belcher has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Soccer Player of the Week.

Belcher tallied two goals and an assist for five points in a perfect 2-0 week for the Bears. The Norton, Massachusetts product potted a pair of goals, including the game-winner, in a 5-0 win over Suffolk University. She also assisted on the game-winning goal in a 1-0 victory over Lesley University.

In 22 games over two seasons with the Bears, Belcher has amassed 13 goals and seven assists for 33 points. Six of her 13 markers have been game-winners.

Belcher is the Bears' first MASCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week since Alana Vincent earned the honor back on October 21st of 2019.

The BSU women's soccer team is currently 2-1-1 on the young season. The Bears entertain Salve Regina University on Tuesday night at seven o'clock.
