Fox Maxwell was named to the Bridgewater State wrestling coaching staff in the summer of 2022. Maxwell is a 2022 graduate of BSU where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in management.

A native of Winchester, Massachusetts, Maxwell wrapped up his four-year BSU career in 2022 with an overall record of 85-36 (.702) with nine pins, 111 takedowns, 116 escapes and a school-record 318 near fall points. He presently ranks tenth all-time in program history with his 85 wins.

In his senior campaign of 2021-2022, Fox went 28-10 (.737) with a pair of pins, 25 takedowns and 26 escapes in 2021-2022, and shattered his own school record with 148 near fall points. Maxwell garnered All-Northeast Region honors for the third straight season as he placed third at the regional championships competing in the 165-pound weight class to qualify for the NCAA Division III Championships.

Fox also earned Division III All-Northeast Region honors in in 2019 and 2020, and was named to the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division III Scholar All-America Team in 2021. He also captured the 165-pound title in folkstyle wrestling at the 2021 USA Wrestling Folkstyle Nationals in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Fox presently resides in his hometown of Winchester, Massachusetts. He is a customer service support specialist for ABB, an electrical manufacturer out of Quincy.
