BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The nationally ranked Johnson & Wales University wrestling team cruised to a 52-0 victory over Bridgewater State University on Saturday afternoon at BSU's Kelly Gymnasium.

The Wildcats (15-4) were ranked eighth in the most recent Open Mat NCAA Division III Dual Meet Rankings.

Johnson & Wales swept the ten bouts including four pins and five technical fall victories.

In the lone bout to go the distance, BSU junior James Grover (Wakefield, Mass.) battled to a tough 12-8 setback against JWU sophomore Louis Paradiso (East Hanover, N.J.) at the 184-pound weight class.

In upcoming action, the Bears (0-4) will compete on Sunday, January 21st at the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Dual Meet Tournament hosted by Johnson & Wales. The meet is slated to get underway at 9:30 AM.
