SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University wrestling team finished in 18th place (5.5 pts.) at the 2016 NCAA Division III Northeast Regional Championships held this weekend at Springfield College.

In the Bears' only bout on Sunday, freshman 125-pounder Dylan Nuttall (Levittown, Pa.) dropped a 9-3 decision to top-seeded James Kaishian of Ithaca College in the consolation quarterfinals. Nuttall finished 2-2 at the tournament with his two losses coming against the top two seeds including the eventual 125-pound champion, Bobby Jordan of Johnson & Wales University.

Ithaca College captured the team title at the two-day event with 144 points. Roger Williams University finished in second place with 136.5 points followed by SUNY-Cortland in third with 119 points.
