Vallee Captures 197-Pound Title to Lead Wrestling at CMSV Invitational

RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Junior TJ Vallee (Augusta, Maine) captured the 197-pound championship at the CMSV Invitational hosted by the College of Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday.

Vallee posted a record of 4-0 including a medical forfeit victory in the championship match to win the 197-pound title.  He also added a first round win by fall as well as a 5-2 semifinal triumph over Christian Psomas of Ursinus.

Senior Sean Fields (Norwalk, Conn.) and freshman Casey Enderlin (Pasco, Wash.) also placed in the top five for the Bears.

Fields finished third in the 157-pound weight class as he went 4-1 with a 3-2 victory over Shane Foster of Waynesburg in the third-place match.

Enderlin placed fourth at 184 as he posted a record of 2-2 including a 7-5 first round win and an 11-1 consolation round triumph.  He dropped a 9-2 decision to NYU's Jon Guarino in the third-place match.

The Bears are back in action on Sunday, January 27th when they compete at the Headlock for Hunger NEWA Dual Meet Tournament hosted by.
