GRANTHAM, Pa. -- The Bridgewater State University wrestling team placed tenth at the Messiah Petrofes Invitational this weekend.

Sophomore Matt Bergeron (Brockton, Mass.) posted an opening round 9-1 victory over Tim Whitehurst of Ferrum as Bergeron went 1-2 out of the 165-pound weight class.

Freshman George Delgado (Brockton, Mass.) at 149 and classmate Casey Enderlin (Pasco, Wash.) at 184 each recorded consolation round victories as they also finished 1-2 at the tournament.

In upcoming action, the Bears travel to Johnson & Wales University on Wednesday evening for a seven o'clock Pilgrim Wrestling League match with the Wildcats.
