GRANTHAM, Pa. -- Junior Ken Francis (New Bedford, Mass.) capture the 125-pound title at the Messiah Petrofes Invitational on Saturday to lead the Bridgewater State University wrestling team to a seventh place finish.

After winning his two bouts in day one action on Friday, the top-seeded Francis posted an 8-2 victory in the tournament semifinals followed by a 7-2 triumph over number two seed Myzar Mendoza of Wilkes University in the championship match.

Freshman heavyweight Ricky Caruso (Waltham, Mass.) placed fourth for the Bears, while senior 165-pounder Ethan Raymond (Middlebury, Vt.) and senior 174-pounder Zachary Bates (Leyden, Mass.) both finished in fifth place in their respective weight  classes.
