SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Springfield College hosted the 19th Annual Doug Parker Wrestling Invitational at Blake Arena on Saturday. The Merchant Marine Academy won the event with 135.00 points, ahead of second-place Springfield at 124.50, and third-place Williams at 122.00. Bridgewater State College finished in eighth place with 81.50 points.
The most outstanding wrestler was Bridgewater State College junior Frank Cammisa at 149 pounds. Winner of most falls was Trinity's Greg Vaughn at heavyweight with five in a span of 19:56.
