BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State College senior Jim Quinlan has been named the Pilgrim Wrestling League (PWL) Wrestler of the Week for his outstanding performance on the mats last week for the Bears.
The Methuen, Massachusetts went 6-0 on the week with three pins including a 4-0 mark at the NEWA Dual Meet Tournament. Quinlan also became BSC's all-time wins leader as he surpassed John Fralick (2003-07) with his a 120th career victory in the Bears tri-match sweep of Williams and Pilgrim League rival Coast Guard.
Quinlan now has 125 career victories and 64 career pins. The 64 pins is also an all-time record at BSC. On the season, Quinlan is 19-1 with 10 pins. He currently leads the PWL in winning percentage (.950) and is tied for third in the league in pins.
