BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State College freshman Greg Martin has been selected as the New England Wrestling Association (NEWA) Rookie Wrestler of the Week for his performance at the Plymouth State Invitational.

A native of Wantage, NJ, Martin went 3-1 at the PSU Tournament with three first period pins.  He defeated three New England wrestlers and lost in the championship bout to NYU's Greg Martino by the slim margin of 6-4.

Martin enters Wednesday night's home tri-match with Coast and Williams with a record of 10-6 on the season with 6 pins to his credit.
