Fralick, Quinlan Ranked Nationally in Division III

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State College wrestlers John Fralick and James Quinlan are ranked in the top eight in their respective weight classes in the latest Brute/Adidas National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III Individual Rankings. Fralick is currently sixth in the 174-pound weight class, while Quinlan is eighth in the 184-pound weight class.

A senior out of Woburn, Massachusetts, Fralick is 16-1 on the season as he leads the Pilgrim Wrestling League with a .941 winning percentage.  His 16 wins this year gives him 88 for his career as he is now third all-time at Bridgewater State in career victories.

Quinlan, a junior out of Methuen, Mass, has posted a 14-1 record this season as he is second only to Fralick in the PWL with a .933 winning percentage.  Quinlan is also tied for first in the league in pins with 9, and tied for fourth in reversals with 8. He now has 40 pins to his credit which is a Bridgewater State all-time record, and his 77 wins ties him for fifth all-time at BSC in career victories along with Dan MacIntosh (1997-2001). This marks the first time in Bridgewater State wrestling history that the Bears have had two wrestlers simultaneously ranked nationally in Division III.  In fact before Fralick made an appearance in last week's rankings, the only BSC wrestler to have been ranked nationally was two-time All-American Craig Buckley.
