Women's Lacrosse Falls to RIT in Puerto Rico, 19-10

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- The Bridgewater State University women's lacrosse team dropped a 19-10 decision to Rochester Institute of Technology on Saturday afternoon at Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium in Puerto Rico.

The Tigers of RIT improve to 3-1 on the season while the Bears fall to 2-3.

Sophomore midfielder Serafina Kiselgof (Rochester, N.Y.) tallied a career-high five goals and six points while sophomore attack Adele Jones (Catonsville, Md.) tallied three goals and an assist. Junior midfielder Lily DePalma (Spencerport, N.Y.) and sophomore midfielder Morgan Nichter (Scotia, N.Y.) each contributed two goals and two assists.

Senior attack Savannah Herrington (Kinnelon, N.J.) paced Bridgewater State with five goals while sophomore midfielder Meredith Sylvia (South Dartmouth, Mass.) potted a pair of goals and junior midfielder Erin McIntyre (Tewksbury, Mass.) checked in with two goals and an assist.

RIT held a 21-14 edge in draw controls.

Bridgewater State is back in action on Tuesday evening as the Bears entertain Salve Regina University at six o'clock.
