Victoria McDonough Named MASCAC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University senior attack Victoria McDonough has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Lacrosse Player of the Week.

A native of Marshfield, Massachusetts, McDonough notched eight goals and two assists for ten points to go along with three ground balls, 21 draw controls and two caused turnovers in a 1-1 week for the Bears in Puerto Rico.

McDonough tallied three goals and two assists as well as three ground balls, two caused turnovers and a season-high 13 draw controls in a 10-7 win over Susquehanna University. She also potted a season-best five goals and added eight draws in a 19-8 setback to Shenandoah University.

In five games this season, McDonough recorded 15 goals and seven assists for 22 points. She also registered ten ground balls, 35 draws and six caused turnovers.

In 58 games over four seasons with the Bears, McDonough has amassed 140 goals and 140 assists for 280 points to go along with 97 ground balls, 239 draw controls and 66 caused turnovers. She ranks second all-time in program history in draws, third in assists and ninth in scoring.

The MASCAC Player of the Week honor marks the eighth of McDonough’s career.
