Men's Cross Country Places 37th at New England Division III Championships

GORHAM, Maine -- The Bridgewater State University Bears placed 37th at the 2013 NCAA Division III New England Regional Men's Cross Country Championships hosted by the University of Southern Maine on Saturday at the Narragansett School in Gorham, Maine.

Sophomore Mark Waller (Andover, Mass.) paced the Bears as he completed the eight-kilometer course in a time of 27:29.10 to finish 142nd out of a field of 366 harriers.

Junior John Breault (South Dartmouth, Mass.) was the only other BSU runner to finish amoung the top 200 as he posted a time of 27:58.30 to place 166th overall.  Freshman Andrew Single (Walpole, Mass.) was the next Bear to cross the line as he finished 259th with a time of 29:24.43.

Williams College won the team championship followed by Middlebury College in second place and MIT in third.  Senior Michael LeDuc of Connecticut College captured the individual title with a winning time of 24:21.03.
