BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University junior Stephen Wahome has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. 

Wahome posted a fourth place individual finish in a field of 322 runners at the NCAA Division III New England Regionals this past weekend at Bowdoin College.  The Lowell, Massachusetts native covered the eight-kilometer layout in a time of 25:00.89 to capture All-New England honors and to earn a spot at the NCAA Division III National Championship meet.

The NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Cross Country Championship are being hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.  The meets will take place at the Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne, Wisconsin.
