WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University men's cross country team placed 22nd at the NCAA Division III New England Championships hosted by Williams College on Saturday at Mount Greylock High School.
Senior Ryan D'Arcangelo (Norfolk, Mass.) paced the Bears as he covered the 8k layout in a time of 27:46.0 to finish in 92nd place. Next across the line for Bridgewater was sophomore David Phipps (Attleboro, Mass.) in 96th place (27:53.7).
MIT won the team championship followed by host Williams in second place and Brandeis University in third. Middlebury's Michael Schmidt won the individual title with a time of 25:40.1.
