BRIDGEWATER,
Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University men's cross
country team competed at the UMass Dartmouth Shriners Invitational
on Saturday afternoon in North Dartmouth.
Sophomore Stephen
Wahome (Lowell, Mass.) paced the Bears as he covered
the 8k layout in a time of 25:08 to place 14th
overall. Junior Bill Taft
(Hanson, Mass.) was next across the line for Bridgewater as he
finished 71st (26:26).
In the team standings, Bridgewater was 12th
overall with a team score of 338. Keene State College
won the meet with a low total of 73 followed by MIT (76) and
Brandeis University (79).
The Bears will head to Williams College next
Saturday for the Purple Valley Classic.
