KEENE, NH -- Sophomore Bill Taft (Hanson, MA) was the 12th runner across the finish line as he led the Bridgewater State College men's cross country team to a seventh place showing at the New England Alliance Championships on Saturday at Keene State.
Taft, who earned All-New England Alliance honors, covered the five-mile course in a time of 27:26 as he was the top Massachusetts State College Athletic Conference (MASCAC) runner at the meet.
Freshman Stephen Wahome (Lowell, MA) was the other BSC harrier to garner All-New England Alliance honors as he finished in 17th place with a time of 27:42.
The University of Southern Maine captured the men's team title led by meet champion Jasud Tyler (26:02).
