WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Bridgewater State College senior Avery Bouchard (Fall River, MA) placed second at the 13th Annual James Early Invitational on Saturday in Westfield as he helped the BSC men's cross country team captured a seventh place finish in the 8k race.
Bouchard posted a time of 25:48.71 as he finished behind only Jason Ayr (25:42.32) who was competing unattached.
Senior Brian Stewart (Scituate, MA) was next across the line for the Bears as he finished in 20th place with a time of 27:22.55. Stewart was followed by Ryan D'Arcangelo (Norfolk, MA) who placed 25th with a time of 27:38.65.
