NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- Senior Avery Bouchard (Fall River, MA) was the 15th runner to cross the finish line to lead the Bridgewater State College men's cross country team to a 17th place showing at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Bouchard, who advanced to the NCAA Division III Championships in 2005, registered a time of 25:29 for the five-mile course.
Senior Briant Stewart (Scituate, MA) was next across the line with a time of 26:39 as he finished in 73rd place overall. Stewart was followed by sophomore Ryan D'Arcangelo (Norfolk, MA) who posted a time of 27:20 to finish in 106th place.
Rounding out the rest of the BSC runners were freshman David Granato (Upton, MA) at 27:57, senior Tim Barrow (Woburn, MA) at 29:35, junior Shaun Henry (Norwell, MA) at 32:13 and sophomore Steven Matthews (Wareham, MA) coming in at 32:31.
