BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the third straight week, Bridgewater State University freshman Jordan Rivera-Silva has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week.

Rivera-Silva placed third in the 200-meter dash with a PR of 22.56 seconds on Sunday at the USATF New England Indoor Track & Field Championships held at Harvard University. The Attleboro, Massachusetts product also finished fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.78 seconds.

Rivera-Silva currently ranks tenth in the East Region in the 200 and 12th in the 400.

Qualifying members of the BSU track & field teams will compete next Sunday at the Division III New England Championships held at The Track at New Balance.
