BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second straight week, Bridgewater State University sophomore Michael Neitlich has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week.

Neitlich garnered All-NEICAAA accolades in the 500-meter dash this past weekend at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships held at The Track at New Balance. The Middleboro, Massachusetts native placed seventh in the finals of the 500 with a time of 1:06.08. He also posted a preliminary time of 1:06.03 at the meet which featured competition from all three NCAA divisions.

The MASCAC Rookie of the Week honor marks the second of Neitlich's career.
