BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second time this season, Bridgewater State University senior Jason Dann has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.

Dann placed third in the weight throw with a toss of 16.35m on Sunday at the USATF New England Indoor Track & Field Championships held at Harvard University. 

Dann currently ranks fifth in the East Region in the weight throw.

The MASCAC Field Athlete of the Week accolade marks the third of Dann's career and second indoor distinction.

Qualifying members of the BSU track & field teams will compete next Sunday at the Division III New England Championships held at The Track at New Balance.
