BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the sixth straight week and seventh time this season, Bridgewater State University freshman Chigozie Adigwe has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Outdoor Track & Field Rookie of the Week.

Adigwe placed fourth in the 110-meter hurdles last week at the MIT Final Qualifier as he posted a finals time of 14.88 seconds. The Lowell, Massachusetts product also recorded a preliminary time of 14.77 seconds in the event.

Adigwe wrapped up the 2022 outdoor track & field season ranked 38th in all of Division III in the 110 hurdles.

The MASCAC Rookie of the Week honor marks the tenth of the 2021-2022 academic year for Adigwe who also earned the accolade three times during the indoor track & field season.
