NEW YORK CITY, N.Y. – Sophomore Stephan Cawley (Dedham, Mass.) placed tenth in the shot put to pace the Bridgewater State University men's indoor track and field team at the ECAC Division III Championships on Saturday.

Cawley posted a distance of 48 feet, 6.75 inches in the event as he came within less than two inches of his own school record.  Earlier this season he set the BSU indoor mark with a put of 48 feet, eight inches.

Freshman Matt Horan (Billerica, Mass.) finished 17th in the in the 55-meter hurdles (7.97 seconds), while sophomore Felix Mensah (Lowell, Mass.) grabbed 21st place in the 55-meter dash (6.63 seconds).
