MEDFORD, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State College men's track and field team competed at the New England Division III Outdoor Championships held at Tufts University over the weekend.
Senior Kevin White (Swansea, MA) paced the Bears with a ninth place showing in the 110-meter hurdles as he posted a time of 15.7 seconds. White also ran a leg on BSC's relay team which finished 11th in the 4 x 100 (44.66 seconds).
Joining White in the 4 x 100 relay were freshmen Felix Mensah (Lowell, MA), Nick Pistacchio (Johnston, RI) and Mohammed Malik (West Bridgewater, MA).
Sophomore Bill Taft (Hanson, MA) placed 16th in the javelin with a distance of 166 feet, 11 inches. Taft also finished 18th in the steeplechase with a time of 10:16.32.
