BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State College men's indoor track and field team competed at the BU Terrier Invitational on Saturday.
Freshman Felix Mensah (Lowell, MA) placed ninth in the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.58 seconds. He also posted a time of 22.89 seconds in the 200-meter dash. Mensah missed the BSC school marks in both events by 3/100 of a second.
Senior Kevin White (Swansea, MA) notched a time of 8.31 seconds to place 19th in the 55-meter hurdles. Fellow senior Nicholas Ferrara (Swansea, MA) recorded a height of 6'0" to finish in 14th place in the high jump.
Sophomore Kevin Sheehan (Rockland, MA) had a terrific distance performance for the Bears as he broke the five-minute mile with a personal-best time of 4:58.77.
