BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- For the second time this season, Bridgewater State University junior Desmond Ng has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Men's Rookie Swimmer of the Week.

Ng placed third in two individual events and was part of a fourth-place relay team last week in the Bears' 131-90 setback to Wheaton College. The Petaling Jaya, Malaysia product finished third in both the 100 backstoke (56.72) and 200 freestyle (1:50.76), and swam the backstroke leadoff leg (56.27) on the 400 medley relay squad (3:59.22).

Ng also earned Little East Rookie Swimmer of the Week honors back on October 14th.

The BSU men's swimming and diving team is off until Saturday, November 23rd when the Bears travel to Clark University for a one o'clock meet with the Cougars.
