Wheaton, BSU Field Hockey to Dedicate Tuesday's Game to "Connor's Links of Love"

NORTON, Mass. -- The Wheaton College and Bridgewater State University field hockey teams will dedicate their game on Tuesday, Oct. 25 to "Connor's Links of Love."

Connor Heffler is an 11 year-old from Natick, MA who is the most positive and uplifting 5th grader you'll ever meet. Last year, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 terminal cancer (glioblastoma), shortly after this avid hockey star wasn't able to move his legs. Alongside his parents and brothers, he has found an astonishing way to inspire everyone he crosses paths with. The avid Bruins fan has even sparked a friendship with Boston Bruins' own national anthem singer, Rene Rancourt, who recently sang the national anthem at the Natick boys soccer opener, in support of Connor! With all of Connor's positivity, it's time to send it right back to him and his family.

Below are three easy ways to help do this! Please consider even a small donation, words of support and finally spreading his story by sharing this post and tagging others to have everyone join "Connor Nation!" Ultimately, Connor will receive overwhelming support for him and his family! Hopefully these little tokens of support will grow to large links of love!

Connor's Links of Love

Step 1:

Mail any monetary donation to Connor's account, with small note asking it to be deposited into Connor Heffler'saccount:

Middlesex Savings Bank
c/o Connor Heffler's account
6 Main St.
Natick, MA 01760

Step 2:

Cut out a 1" wide strip from a piece of construction or printer paper with a note written on it to Connor to show your love and support and mail it (as a flat strip) to:

Connor Heffler
PO Box 2178
Natick, MA 01760

Connor will be able to read and assemble these Links with his family and see how much support he has!

Step 3:

Repost this link in attempts to get as many different other middle schoolers, sports teams, states, countries, colleges/universities, police stations and all friends and families to be involved!
