Brittany Cullinane Named Little East Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. -- Bridgewater State University senior forward Brittany Cullinane has been selected as the Little East Conference (LEC) Field Hockey Offensive Player of the Week.

Cullinane tallied six goals, including a pair of game-winners, in a perfect 2-0 week for the Bears last week. The Lunenburg, Massachusetts product netted a career-high five goals in a 7-0 LEC win over Framingham State. She also potted the game-winning marker in a 3-1 victory over conference foe Fitchburg State.

In six games this season, Cullinane has nine goals and an assist for 19 points. She ranks fourth among the Little East leaders in both goals and scoring, and is tied for third in game-winning goals (3).

In 64 games over four seasons with the Bears, Cullinane has amassed 26 goals and seven assists for 59 points. Of her 26 markers, nine have been game-winners.

Cullinane ranks eighth all-time at Bridgewater State in both goals and scoring.

The BSU field hockey team is currently 5-2 on the season and 3-2 in the Little East standings. The Bears travel to Worcester State University on Wednesday evening for a seven o'clock conference matchup with the Lancers.
