HOLLISTON, Mass. -- The Bridgewater State University equestrian team wrapped up regular season competition on Saturday at August Farm in Holliston, Massachusetts. Wheaton College and Bridgewater State co-hosted the show.

Junior Ashley Crosby (Littleton, Mass.) placed first in open fences while riding Diamond. Crosby also finished second in open flat on Hank.

Senior Katherine Ryan (Mendon, Mass.) rode Freya for a fourth place finish in intermediate flat and recorded a second place performance while riding Hobby in limit fences.

Junior Ashley Drake (Suffield, Conn.) hopped on Keeper and placed second in limit fences. Drake also rode Sunny to a fifth place finish in limit flat.

Sophomore Samantha Burke (Weymouth, Mass.) placed sixth in limit fences while riding Tuesday.

Junior captain Jenna Root (Rutland, Mass.) finished fourth in her first limit fences class riding Hank. Root also placed fourth in limit flat on Eddie.

Senior Abby Lucas (Pembroke, Mass.) placed second in novice while riding Hank and also qualified for regionals.

Junior Hannah Nezuch (Marlborough, Mass.) and senior Claudia Pupo (Medford, Mass.) finished fourth and sixth, respectively, in introductory as they both rode Keeper.

Crosby, Root and Lucas will be competing at the IHSA Zone 1, Region 4 Championships on Saturday, March 26th at Holly Hill Show Stables in Hanover. Spectators will be allowed to attend the show.
