Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the 2019-2020 Bridgewater State University Athletics Virtual Awards Banquet.
Each day this week, we will be announcing the major award winners. Today (Friday, June 5) we wrap up the major awards presentations with the Dr. Adrian Tinsley Scholar-Athletes of the Year. Please keep in mind that we are honoring the student-athletes for their outstanding performances during the 2019 spring sports season, 2019 fall season and 2019-2020 winter season.
Congratulations to Kira Gilbreath and Michael Hutchinson for this well-deserved honor. These two individuals truly had outstanding seasons of intercollegiate competition in the sports of track & field and cross country, and have also excelled in the classroom during their time at Brirdgewater State.
