William Walker

Bill was a member and captain of the Bridgewater State men's swim team from 1969-72. He excelled in both the butterfly and freestyle events. Bill served as the student member of the campus development committee which developed what is now the library and Campus Center. In 1971, Bill was designated as an Outstanding College Athlete in America for his athletic and academic achievements.

In 1971 Bill co-founded the BSC women's' swim team and coached the program until 1975. Since then, Mr. Walker has been the Pool Director of Lincoln-Hancock Community School Pool in Quincy, MA. For the next seventeen years he was the head coach for both the boys' and girls' swim teams at North Quincy High School. During that same time period, he has also been the Meet Director for the Massachusetts High School Swimming Championships for boys and girls as well as President of the New England Swimming Coaches Association and President of the Massachusetts State Coaches Association.

Currently, Walker is the Director of Athletics for the Bridgewater-Raynham School District.

Bill has three grown children and lives in Bridgewater, MA with his wife Jean.
