Phil LeFavor played football at BSC from 1968-71. A four-year starter on the offensive line he was named to the NEFC all-star team in 1969 and captain his senior year. Phil was president of the Men's Athletic Association.

From 1972 until his retirement in 2011, Phil was a teacher at Wareham High School in the social studies department and later a Vice-Principal. He has also coached football at Wareham as an assistant fromk 1972 to 1982 and a head coach from 1983 to 1995. Phil coached spring track at Wareham from 1972 to 1995, and was also an assistant football coach at Old Rochester Regional High School.

Phil earned his M.Ed. From Bridgewater in 1976 and a CAGS from Fitchburg State in 2002. He has been active with the Bridgewater State football alumni advisory committee.
