Kathy McGough

Kathy McGough was a two-sport athlete at BSC excelling in both field hockey (1986-89) and softball (1987-89). Playing the link position in field hockey she was named to the MASCAC all conference team in 1988 and 1989 and to the Sauk Valley New England Region All-American team (1989). She was their team captain in 1988 and 1989. In softball, she played second base and was named to the MASCAC all conference team in 1989. She captained the team her junior year and still holds the team record for walks in a season with 31 free passes.

She returned to her alma mater in 1993 as an assistant field hockey coach and later took over as head coach for the 1996 and 1997 seasons. An exercise science major at BSC, she began her professional career as a physical therapist assistant and has recently gone on to become a physical education teacher for grades K-8. Kathy now calls Fall River, MA home.
