Karen McDonald

Karen McDonald was a three-sport athlete in basketball (4yrs.), softball (4 yrs.) and field hockey (2 yrs.). In softball, she was the Lady Bears' starting first baseman for four seasons and captain her senior year. She was most dominant in basketball where she led BSC in scoring three years in a row. She participated on BSC teams that played in the first National Invitational Tournament at Northeastern University in 1970 and won the Massachusetts State College Championship in 1971.

She has worked at Abington High School since her graduation where she has coached basketball, tennis and field hockey. A resident of Whitman, Karen is also one of the top high school and collegiate officials in both basketball and softball in New England.
