John Blanchon
John Blanchon

John Blanchon competed in baseball, basketball for four years and soccer for three years at BSC earning a total of 11 varsity letters. He was captain of both the basketball and soccer teams in 1956. John was also the sports editor for the yearbook during 1955 and 1956. He was also the recipient of the "Outstanding Contribution to Sports Award" in 1956.

After graduation John received a Masters degree in School Administration from Northeastern University. Mr. Blanchon coached soccer at Stonehill College and went on to become the principal of Sharon High School from 1982 until 1994. He also served on both the Massachusetts Secondary Principal Curriculum Committee and National Honor Society Committee.

Mr. Blanchon currently lives in Hyannis with his wife Lorraine and credits Dr. Fred Meier and Coach Ed Swenson with enabling him to complete his studies at BSC.
