JoAnn Runge

JoAnn Runge played both basketball (1984-87) and softball (1987) at Bridgewater State. In basketball she was a dominant point guard for the Lady Bears when they advanced to the NCAA Division III Championships (1984-86). At the time of her induction, JoAnn held BSC records for assists (615), steals (326) and was the fourth all-time leading scorer with 1023 points. She was named the ECAC Rookie of the Year in 1984 and an ECAC first team All Star from 1985-87. She was also a MASCAC All Conference first team selection from 1984-87. In 2002, JoAnn was inducted into the North Quincy Athletic Hall of Fame.

Today, JoAnn has been a registered nurse since 2000 working in the Emergency Room at Central Florida Regional Hospital. She has a 7 year old daughter Hannah.
